Antoine Bensa, an authorial eye

We work with Antoine Bensa, a photographer based on the French Riviera, whose work stands out for its sensitive and architectural approach to imagery. Specialising in interior and architectural photography, he develops a precise eye for volumes, light, and lines, while maintaining a deeply narrative dimension. He also produces corporate portraits, always guided by the same pursuit of authenticity.

His photography never merely shows a place: it reveals its soul, its original intention, and the way it interacts with its surroundings.

A strong architectural culture and recognised references

Antoine Bensa’s work exists within a demanding universe, shaped by collaborations with renowned architects such as Xavier Didero, as well as Maud Liagre and Emelyne Lavoine.

His vision is built upon strong editorial references, such as L’Exploreur, where photography becomes an exploratory, almost documentary tool, serving the place and the confidential projects of singular architects, whose approaches sometimes raw, organic, or Mediterranean continue to influence the way he reads architecture today.

An artistic approach nourished by Art Photography

Alongside his professional work, Antoine is the creator of two Art Photo projects: La Côte and Le Réveil. These personal projects have allowed him to explore territory, time, natural light, and transitional moments.

These projects directly influence his approach to photographing spaces: patience, observation, attention to detail, and sensitivity to what is not immediately visible.

Photographing our properties: a shared vision

Antoine is now the photographer we work with because of his ability to understand our vision: that our properties are not just spaces, but experiences to be lived.

Each property becomes, for him, a field of interpretation, where architecture, light, and use interact. This approach is evident in his work on Alanhouse and Le Mas Rose, two very different places that share a strong identity.

Alanhouse: explore, frame, reveal

For Alanhouse, Antoine adopts an almost exploratory approach. His gaze lingers on perspectives, circulation, and the breathing spaces between interior and exterior. He seeks to create a visual narrative, where each image leads naturally to the next, like a journey.

In his words:

“Suspended opposite the village, this haven invites nature to embrace the typical Provençal stones. Between shadow and light, the virgin vines flourish, bringing subtle freshness around the house and pool. A tree-lined path, with small steps, winds through the property’s many corners.”

Here, photography becomes a way to reveal the structure of the place, its rhythm, and its relationship with space.

Le Mas Rose: memory, light and heritage

With Le Mas Rose, the approach is different, more introspective, almost patrimonial. He approaches the place through its history, its siting, and the way light shapes it throughout the day.

His attention focuses on details, hues, cast shadows, and the constant dialogue between architecture and landscape. The delicate pink becomes a visual thread, a signature.

He writes:

“A delicate pink which, without recalling that of Château de l’Anglais, gives this atypical mas its identity. Bathed in light, it is shaped by the sun, drawing harmonious lines throughout the day for the eye’s pleasure.”

And later:

“Gardens, windows, and terraces offer an idyllic setting for unique contemplation over the Bay of Angels, Nice, its port, and surrounding hills.”

Here, photography does not aim to impress, but to respect the memory of the place and reveal its quiet poetry.

Beyond technique, Antoine brings an artistic and cultural reading to our properties. His work exists in the long term, in observation and understanding of the space, far from standardised images.

It is this exacting eye, sensitivity, and ability to tell a story through images that make him far more than a photographer: a true artistic partner in showcasing our properties.
